Step Eleven: Creating the Business Plan
|
After developing an implementation plan, it will be necessary to create and test a funding model to sustain the project during its development, marketing, and maintenance phases. This model must correspond initially to the adopted implementation plan and subsequently will influence its execution. Partner or stakeholder commitments should be an essential element of the business model, and formal memoranda of understanding reached with all partners. Part of this plan will be the preparation of a grant proposal to the National Endowment for the Humanities and other funding agencies as appropriate.
Responsibilities: IHC and TPC.
Schedule: April 1 – May 31, 2002.
Deliverable: Written business plan.
